I build Nudge alone. It is the cleaning companion I wanted to exist: one that treats changing capacity as normal and makes the first step smaller instead of adding pressure. I publish under the Nudge name rather than my own—the work is the argument, not the byline.
why Nudge exists
Most cleaning systems assume consistent energy and motivation. Nudge starts from a different premise: some days you have an hour, and some days you have five minutes. The plan should adapt to the day you are actually having.
what guides the work
Nudge is designed around tiny actions, energy-aware plans, calm language, and recovery without punishment. There are no broken streaks or red-pressure badges. The goal is a home that feels easier—not a perfect score.
Those choices are product hypotheses informed by lived experience with executive dysfunction, user feedback, and careful reading—not proof that one interface works for every person with ADHD. Nudge organizes cleaning tasks; it does not diagnose or treat ADHD, and I do not present myself as a clinician.
how the guides are made
Practical guides begin with a concrete cleaning barrier: choosing a first action, containing a doom pile, planning a short reset, or deciding which kind of app fits. Research-heavy claims are checked against primary papers or authoritative organizations where possible. Practical checklists are labeled as practical guidance rather than dressed up as clinical evidence.
Product comparisons disclose that Nudge publishes them, link to first-party sources, and name situations where another tool may fit better. Dates and corrections are kept visible so a reader can judge freshness and context.
what experience does not prove
Personal experience can reveal a problem worth designing for, but it cannot establish a universal ADHD mechanism or treatment effect. When evidence is limited, the site says so. If cleaning difficulty affects safety, causes significant distress, or may be connected to a health condition, a qualified professional is a more appropriate source of individualized support.
