tiimo cancellation, checked 2026-09-15

How to cancel a Tiimo subscription

short answer

It depends where you bought it. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Tiimo, Cancel Subscription. On the web planner: Settings, then Account, then Manage subscriptions, which opens a customer portal in a new tab. On Android: the Google Play subscriptions list. Tiimo's own FAQ states that a store subscription cannot be managed from its web billing provider or the other way round, and that a trial continues automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

Tiimo is sold in three different places and each one has its own cancel screen. That is the whole reason this is hard to find: the app is on your phone, so Apple's list feels like the obvious place to look, and for a lot of people it is simply the wrong one.

Built from the can't-start problem, not a perfect-home ideal

I build Nudge alone, and I live with executive dysfunction. I designed it around one tiny action, changing capacity, and restarting without a missed-day penalty—the cleaning support I wanted to use myself.

Find your purchase route, then cancel it

  1. step 1

Work out where you bought it

Tiimo's own FAQ states that a subscription bought on the App Store or Google Play cannot be managed through its web billing provider, and that a web subscription cannot be managed through the stores. Everything else depends on getting this right, so start here rather than in the app.

  2. step 2

Bought on iPhone or iPad: cancel in Apple's list

Open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Tiimo, then tap Cancel Subscription. Access normally continues to the end of the period you already paid for, so the entry staying on screen is expected.

  3. step 3

Bought on the web planner: use the customer portal

Tiimo's FAQ describes the route as Settings, then Account, then Manage subscriptions, which opens a personal customer portal in a new browser tab. Cancel from that portal. This is also the route for a subscription bought on a Mac or through the browser version.

  4. step 4

Bought on Android: cancel in Google Play

Open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and cancel Tiimo there. An Android purchase will never appear in Apple's Subscriptions screen no matter how many devices you use the app on.

  5. step 5

If you are inside a trial, mind the 24-hour rule

Tiimo's FAQ says the subscription continues automatically after the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. It also says the 7-day trial exists only on the yearly plan, and that a monthly purchase is charged right away. Cancelling on the last day can therefore still result in a charge.

  6. step 6

Check the renewal date, not the app

Confirm in whichever of the three places actually holds your subscription, then check again after the date the next payment was due. A cancellation is only proven when no money moves.

The trial rule that catches people

Two details from Tiimo's FAQ, read on 2026-09-15, are worth knowing before you start a trial rather than after. The 7-day trial exists only on the yearly plan — choosing monthly means the charge happens right away. And the cancellation has to land at least 24 hours before the trial ends, so a reminder set for the final morning is already too late.

None of that is unusual, and none of it is hidden: it is published on their own site. It is just that almost nobody reads a billing FAQ before tapping Subscribe, which is precisely when it would help.

One store, one cancel screen, prices published

Nudge is iPhone-only and sold only through the App Store, so it cancels in one place: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Weekly is $2.99 with no trial. Monthly is $6.99 and Annual is $49.99, and both include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.

If you were using Tiimo to get the house done

Tiimo is a visual day planner for the whole of life — calendars, routines, focus timers — and it is a well-regarded one: its App Store listing names it iPhone App of the Year 2025 and an Apple Design Awards finalist. Cleaning is one of many things you might put in it.

If the part that kept slipping was specifically the house, the comparison page sets the two side by side, including the places Tiimo is the better pick.

Cancelling Tiimo: common questions

Tiimo is not in my Apple subscriptions. Where is it?

Then it was bought somewhere else. Tiimo sells through the App Store, Google Play and its own web checkout, and its FAQ states these cannot be managed from one another. Check the web customer portal via Settings, Account, Manage subscriptions, or the Google Play subscriptions list.

I cancelled during the free trial and was still charged.

Tiimo's FAQ says the cancellation has to happen at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If the charge has already been taken through Apple, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For a web charge, contact Tiimo's support and then your card issuer.

Why was I charged immediately on the monthly plan?

Because that is what Tiimo's FAQ describes: the 7-day trial applies only to the yearly subscription, and a monthly purchase is charged right away. It is worth reading the plan selector carefully before confirming.

How much does Tiimo cost?

Tiimo does not publish a figure. Its FAQ says prices may vary by location and that the local price is shown at checkout in the App Store, Google Play or the web. Read the price on the confirmation screen; we will not quote a number we cannot verify.

Is Nudge sold in more than one place?

No. Nudge is iPhone-only and sold only through the App Store, so there is one subscription list it can appear in and one place it can be cancelled. Weekly is $2.99 with no trial. Monthly is $6.99 and Annual is $49.99, both with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
